1. Who we are
Cashout Media ("Cashout Media", "we", "us") is a studio based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We make content, brand design and marketing campaigns for clients, and we run products of our own, including cashout.community and GPA Shark.
This policy covers cashoutmedia.com and the personal information we handle when you contact us or hire us. cashout.community and gpashark.app have their own privacy policies on their own sites.
2. What this website collects
cashoutmedia.com has no accounts, no forms and no advertising or analytics trackers, and we don't set cookies.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, receives standard request information when you load a page: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you asked for and the time. It's used to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Your browser may also keep copies of our pages and images in its own cache.
3. When you contact us
If you email hello@cashoutmedia.com or message us on social media, we receive your name, your contact details and whatever you choose to send. We use it to reply, to plan and quote work, and to keep a record of the conversation.
4. When you hire us
Client work needs some information: contact and billing details, brand assets and content you provide, and access you grant to tools such as Meta Business Manager, ad accounts, analytics and social profiles. We use that access only for your project, within the permissions you give us, and you can remove it at any time.
Data inside your ad and analytics accounts, such as audiences and performance reports, stays in your accounts. We use it to run and report on your campaigns. When people appear in content we shoot, we ask for their consent and get releases where they're needed. The details of each engagement are set out in our written agreement with you.
5. Links and the Ask AI buttons
This site links to other sites, including cashout.community, gpashark.app, X, Instagram and GitHub. The Ask AI buttons open ChatGPT (OpenAI), Google, Claude (Anthropic) or Grok (X) in a new tab with a question about us already typed in. We don't send those services anything about you. What you do there is covered by their own privacy policies.
6. How we use and share information
We use personal information to reply to you, deliver and bill for our work, keep business records and meet our legal obligations. We don't sell personal information.
We share it only with service providers who help us run the business (for example hosting, email, file storage, accounting and payments), with platforms you ask us to work in, with professional advisers, or when the law requires it.
7. Where it's stored
Our service providers may store and process information outside British Columbia and Canada, including in the United States. Information held there is subject to the laws of those places.
8. How long we keep it
We keep emails and project records for as long as we need them for the work, our business records and tax law, then delete them. Our host keeps its request logs for a limited period.
9. Security
Access to personal information is limited to the people who need it, our accounts use strong authentication, and we remove our access to client tools when a project ends. No way of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that it never will be compromised.
10. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to how we use it, subject to legal and contractual limits. Email hello@cashoutmedia.com and we'll reply within 30 days.
If you're not happy with how we handled your request, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia at oipc.bc.ca.
11. Children
This site is meant for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
12. Changes to this policy
When our practices change we'll update this page and the date at the top.
